“Tim was the executive producer for the show, and because we are friends, I could get away with kidding around with him on the set in front of the staff and crew. “One of the things I loved so much about playing my auto repair guy character on Tim’s sitcom was the fact that it was Tim’s show, and not my show to run,” Leno said.
